Glasgow Film Theatre Receives £9,080 Grant from National Lottery Community Fund
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the awarding of a National Lottery Community Grant of £9,080 to the Glasgow Film Theatre, which is based in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency; notes that this funding will be used to deliver a series of community engagement events to tie in with the Glasgow film festival in March 2023; understands that the Glasgow Film Theatre has been leading the way in specialised cinema for more than 45 years playing almost 680 films per year; further understands that the Glasgow Film Theatre provides an independent film programme for diverse audiences including visible cinema for deaf and hard of hearing audiences, movie memories, which is dementia-friendly, and access film club, which is autism-friendly, and congratulates the Glasgow Film Theatre on securing this funding.
