Epilepsy Connections Receives £45,010 Grant from National Lottery Community Fund
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the awarding of a National Lottery Community Grant of £45,010 to Epilepsy Connections based in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency; understands that this funding will be used to deliver a six-month online wellbeing and self-management programme for people coming to terms with an epilepsy diagnosis; notes that Epilepsy Connections is a charity that runs a variety of projects and services within the Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Forth Valley and Ayrshire and Arran areas, offering information, advice and support to people with epilepsy, their families, friends and carers; further notes that it runs a number of services including activities for children, befriending and counselling, and raising awareness in schools, and congratulates Epilepsy Connections on securing this funding.
