Black Isle Chatterbox Named Community Newspaper of the Year at the Highlands and Islands Media Awards

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the success of Black Isle magazine, Chatterbox on being named Community Newspaper of the Year at the Highlands and Islands Media Awards; notes that Chatterbox, which was first established in 1997 as a photocopied newsletter, now prints four magazines a year, covering news from all over the Black Isle; understands that the annual awards recognise the high quality of media coverage across the Highlands and Islands; further understands that the Community Newspaper award recognises Chatterbox’s continued commitment to quality community coverage in the Black Isle; congratulates everyone at Chatterbox magazine for picking up this award, and wishes them all the very best going forward.
