Highland Running Club Launched to Support People on Cancer Journey

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Rebecca O’Hara on founding a new outdoor running club, based in the Highlands, that aims to support those who have had or continue to have cancer; understands that Rebecca O’Hara had breast cancer in recent years, which acted as her inspiration for founding the running club to support others in a similar situation; believes that the club will be able to serve as an alternative to traditional cancer support groups for those who find them daunting or uncomfortable to attend; understands that the club aims to improve its participants' physical and mental health through the medium of running, and wishes Rebecca O’Hara and her club members the best of success for the future.
