Scotland Wins British Isles Indoor Bowls Council Women's Under-25s International Series

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Scotland Women’s Under-25s Bowls Team, which won the British Isles Indoor Bowls Council Women’s Under-25s International Series; understands that Scotland took home the Acle Trophy for the first time since 2017 and the third time in its history, beating England by an impressive 90-55 in a winner-takes-all match at Ffrith Indoor Bowls Centre in Wales; congratulates Scotland’s Eilidh Weir who was awarded Player of the Series; considers that Bowls is an ideal sport to improve people's mental and physical health, make new friends, and have fun; understands that Bowls is one of the biggest participation sports in Scotland with 821 clubs and 50,000 members, and wishes all involved in Bowls in Scotland every success in 2023.
