10,000 ft Plunge for Project Nakuru

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Gordon Underwood on his fundraising skydive, in aid of Project Nakuru; understands that Gordon will take a 10,000 ft plunge to help Kenyan children build their own dreams and access education; further understands that eight million people in Kenya live in extreme poverty and 100,000 children live with disabilities, and that young people over 14 must pay to progress their educational journey; understands that Project Nakuru has provided over 400,000 free meals, constructed 21 classrooms and educational facilities, assisted 45 children with mental and physical disabilities to access a special needs unit, enabled 190 teenagers to attend secondary education, and helped support 368 families through the COVID-19 pandemic; sends its best wishes to Gordon ahead of his fundraising challenge; commends Project Nakuru, and wishes it all the best for the future.
