Thanking Asda Newmains First Aiders

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the quick thinking of Sandra Moroney and Elaine Doherty, first aiders within Asda Newmains, who sprung to the assistance of George Chastell; understands that George took unwell and collapsed within the store; further understands that recent statistics released by St John’s Ambulance have revealed that 140,000 people die each year in the UK from incidents in which first aid could possibly have saved their lives; wishes George a speedy recovery; encourages others to learn first aid, and thanks Sandra and Elaine for their actions.
