Celebrating Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023

The motion

That the Parliament recognises that 6 March marks the start of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023; understands that Scottish Apprenticeship Week highlights the diverse backgrounds and abilities of apprentices, and how skills and qualifications can be achieved through hands-on learning; believes that vocational qualifications and Modern Apprenticeships are vital to the recovery of the Scottish economy, while also presenting a chance to pass skills from generation to generation; thanks all of the employers across Scotland who have unlocked the potential of many young adults, and wishes all the apprentices and learners the very best for their future.
