AES Solar Apprenticeships and Enterprise

That the Parliament congratulates Forres-based AES Solar for being awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for a second time; recognises that it has been awarded for the firm’s excellence in research; commends AES Solar’s work in helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the installation of solar PV products; welcomes what it sees as the firm’s commitment to supporting the development of the young workforce through participation in apprenticeship schemes; understands that almost 20% of its workforce are apprentices; recognises the contribution that it believes small, innovative businesses like AES Solar can make to addressing the climate crisis, and wishes it all the best for the future as a key, local, green employer in Moray.
