Congratulating Scran Academy on its 10th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the achievements of the staff and young people at Scran Academy on marking its milestone of half a decade of growth; understands that, during this time, 265 young people facing poverty, trauma and exclusion have accessed its transformative youth work programmes; recognises that these have included youth-led responses to the cost of living crisis, the war against Ukraine and the COVID-19 pandemic, and commends the role that frontline agencies like Scran Academy have played in tackling the Scottish Attainment Challenge, reducing child poverty and food poverty and increasing youth employability.
