Appointment of Wilma Smith as Co-Vice President of Screen Talent Europe
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Wilma Smith, the Filmmakers Programme Manager of Glasgow Media Access Centre (GMAC), in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, on her appointment as Co-Vice President of European talent organisation, Screen Talent Europe (STE); notes that, in this role, Wilma will help to secure support and funding for new and existing STE talent programmes as well as welcoming other organisations across the UK and Europe into the network; understands that Wilma is the first person in Scotland to be appointed as Co-Vice President of Screen Talent Europe, and wishes Wilma every success in her new role.
