National Lottery Community Funding Awarded to Home-Start Cowdenbeath Area Ltd

That the Parliament recognises the recent funding award of £13,860 to Home-Start Cowdenbeath Area Ltd from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the group will use this funding to help distribute donations from the Cottage Family Centre's The Big Hoose project to families who are experiencing crisis; notes that donates include essentials such as bedding, duvets, warm winter clothing and personal hygiene items; further notes that the funding will also help to provide monthly food vouchers or hampers to 30 families for a six month period; considers that the Community Fund supports communities to thrive with funding from the National Lottery; commends the work of all those involved at Home-Start Cowdenbeath Area Ltd, and wishes everyone involved all the very best in this project and for the future.
