Kirstin Harper Selected for National Sportscotland Panel for 2023-25

The motion
That the Parliament praises Kirstin Harper, from Huntly, for being selected as one of the 20 young people, aged between 15 and 23 years old, to be a part of the Young People’s Sport Panel; acknowledges that the Young People’s Sport Panel provides a national platform representing the voice of young people across Scotland, with the panel having been created in 2012 to help influence and shape the future of sport in Scotland and to raise the profile of sport; recognises that the National Lottery-funded panel is supported by Young Scot and managed by sportscotland, and will be meeting in Stirling on 4 March 2023 for the first time to discuss its work on equality, diversity and inclusion; congratulates Kirstin for her efforts within sport, and wishes her the best for the future.
