River Dee Trust Appoints Three New Ambassadors

The motion

That the Parliament commends the River Dee Trust for appointing three new Ambassadors, the actor and angler, Robson Green, the record-breaking Olympian rower, Dame Katherine Grainger, and the internationally experienced river guide, Al Peake; notes the Ambassadors’ passion for the river and their roles in pioneering the nature restoration to a wider audience; acknowledges what it sees as the important work of the River Dee Trust, a charity dedicated to helping the river’s salmon and entire ecosystem in line with the best science, and promoting its Special Area of Conservation, and wishes the Trust and its Ambassadors all the best for the future.
