Hot Soup Cinema at Knightswood Community Centre
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the new Hot Soup Cinema Club initiative of Knightswood Community Centre; notes that, thanks to National Lottery funding, the initiative will be running for 22 weeks every Monday at 12 noon, in the Knightswood Community Centre; recognises that the cinema club has removed barriers to entry by being completely free, and that those who attend are offered free sandwiches and warming soup before the movie starts, and highlights that the initiative aims to tackle loneliness in the community, and to be inclusively run through the inclusion of autism, dementia and family-friendly screenings.
