Congratulating Living Memory Association
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Living Memory Association on recently being awarded a grant of £108,184 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund; understands that the association has been awarded funding for its exhibition, Away for the Messages – Memories of Shopping and Shops; believes that the exhibition aims to capture and document memories of shopping in Edinburgh communities; understands that this project will create an interactive exhibition within a traditional shopping unit; commends all the hard work of the Living Memory Association; recognises what it sees as a very well deserved grant, and wishes everyone at the Living Memory Association and all those involved in the project all the best for the future.
