Beatson Presented with Excellence Award

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the presentation of the Myeloma UK Clinical Service Excellence Programme (CSEP) Award to the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre in recognition of its outstanding care and dedication to patients with myeloma; believes that this award shows that the Beatson West of Scotland Centre and its dedicated staff have shown commitment to raising the bar for treatment and providing compassionate and individualised care to patients; understands that the CSEP programme assesses a range of criteria, including testing and diagnosis, research and clinical trials, and end of life care, and that the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and its haematology team deliver on all of these points in their treatment of patients, and believes that they are therefore deserving of this award and the recognition that it shows.
