Mayfield and Easthouses Development Trust Receives £148,380 from the National Lottery Community Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Mayfield and Easthouses Development Trust on receiving a £148,380 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that this funding will be used to maintain and develop a community garden together with other supportive services including a community pantry, a community hub and a café space; understands that, over three years, local people and volunteers in the Mayfield and Easthouses district of Midlothian will benefit from the service; further understands that Mayfield and Easthouses Development Trust is community based, owned and managed, with all its focus dedicated to addressing the economic, social, environmental and cultural needs of the local area; commends the work of Mayfield and Easthouses Development Trust, and thanks all the staff for their continued hard work and dedication.
