The Miracle Foundation SCIO Receives £6,751 Grant
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Miracle Foundation SCIO on receiving a £3,751 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the charity helps young people and families who have experienced trauma or bereavement and provides one-to-one assistance through support groups and art therapy workshops; further notes that the charity aims to support as many young people as possible, particularly those who come from deprived and under-represented communities within Lanarkshire; understands that the funding will be used to redecorate rooms for its counselling and therapy sessions, aiming to cater more to younger people who are receiving bereavement and trauma support; commends the staff and participants of The Miracle Foundation, and wishes them the best in future endeavours.
