Wishaw Family Learning Centre Receives £10,000 Grant

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Wishaw Family Learning Centre on receiving a £10,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the learning centre, based on Greenhead Road, Wishaw, specialises in assisting children and their families within the local area, and can host up to 110 families during the academic year; further notes that, with thanks to the grant, the centre will provide a "Pay What You Want" community food shop, open to local families; understands that the centre will also give out supermarket vouchers and host cooking classes for locals experiencing hardship due to the cost of living crisis; commends the work of the Wishaw Family Learning Centre, and wishes it all the best in the future.
