West Scotland Deaf Children's Society Receives £126,966 Grant from the National Lottery Community Fund

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the awarding of a National Lottery Community Fund grant of £126,966 to West Scotland Deaf Children’s Society (WSDCS), based in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency; notes that this funding will be used to support deaf babies, children, young people and their families by delivering family-accessible British Sign Language classes; further notes that this funding will also allow WSDCS to continue to provide emotional and practical support for families with deaf children, its accessible social club for deaf young people, and its children’s activities and sessions, and congratulates WSDCS on securing this funding.
