Nemo Arts Receives £142,680 Grant from the National Lottery Community Fund
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the awarding of a National Lottery Community Fund grant of £142,680 to Nemo Arts, based in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency; notes that this funding will be used to deliver a series of weekly creative workshops in Glasgow for adults aged 18 and over who are experiencing mental health issues; understands that Nemo Arts' aim is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the people it works with, improve the knowledge and understanding of mental illness in the wider community, and reduce the stigma and isolation associated with poor mental health, and congratulates Nemo Arts on securing this funding.
