Kirsty's Travelling Tearoom, International Women’s Day
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kirsty McCourt on raising over £1,100 at a recent International Women’s Day event in Rivals Gym in Wishaw; understands that the money raised will help to fund the scholarships of four budding young actresses, Keira McCafferty, Elise McCloy, Ruby Byrne and Megan Walsh; further understands that Kirsty runs Kirsty’s Travelling Tearoom, which travels across Scotland providing high tea and supporting local charities and groups; understands that Lynn McGhee, owner of Inspired by Lynn, and Lynsey McCallum, were also presented with Business Woman of the Year and Woman of the Year awards; thanks Kirsty and her customers for their efforts, and wishes Keira, Elise, Ruby and Megan all the best with their studies and future career.
