The motion

That the Parliament highlights the services offered by Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC) to deaf people and those with hearing loss, as it marks British Sign Language (BSL) Week; notes that people can join the monthly Talk and Sign group, which allows members to communicate and socialise using BSL, as well as attend trips and activities; further notes that the charity has two free weekly "Voice Off" classes, where people can learn the basics of BSL from members of the deaf community; understands that FVSC also runs lip reading classes, speaks about deaf awareness within the wider community, hosts a Deaf social group and a youth group, to help reduce isolation, and provides fun and new opportunities for members who may not feel confident; commends the volunteers for their hard work, and wishes them the best for their future success.
