Congratulating Lauriston Castle
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Lauriston Castle on being named one of the top five hidden gems to visit in Scotland in 2023; notes that the stunning 400-year-old castle, which was considered one of Scotland’s best, is just a 25-minute drive from Edinburgh city centre; understands that the castle is best known for its panoramic views and award-winning cakes and hot drinks from top Edinburgh bakery, Mimi’s Bakehouse; hopes for the continued success of the castle in the future, and wishes the very best to all those involved in its continued preservation.
