Aberdeenshire West Success in the National Lottery Community Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Banchory Bowling Club, Scottish Men’s Sheds Association and The Seed Box on receiving National Lottery Community Funding; understands that Banchory Bowling Club received a £9,000 grant to replace part of the roof on the bowling pavilion; further understands that Scottish Men’s Sheds Association received a £9,312 grant to update its nationwide website and database, which supports the network of over 200 men’s sheds in Scotland; understands that The Seed Box received a £10,000 grant to install a portacabin shop at its new site near Banchory, providing outdoor therapy and horticultural training for adults with additional support needs; commends the community groups on successfully securing this funding to support the community, and recognises the work that they do in the community.
