Ayr’s Maggie Holloway Launches Ayrshire’s First Menopause Clinic

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that businesswoman Maggie Holloway, from Ayr, is set to open Ayrshire’s first menopause healthcare clinic, Menopause Health-Matters, in late March 2023; notes that Maggie will open the clinic with her all-female team of staff, which includes GPs, a clinical psychologist, nutrition coach, medical herbalist, master Reiki practitioner and phlebotomist; understands that the clinic already has 600 women registered on its waiting list; further understands that Maggie’s own menopause experience inspired her to help others by opening a clinic that will teach wellbeing, offer advice on nutrition and exercise, and holistic medical care; wishes the clinic continued success in helping to meet the needs of women across Ayrshire, and wishes the whole team every success.
