Netherlee Fish and Chips Shop Named as One of the UK's Best

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates CATCH Fish and Chips shop, in Netherlee, as being recognised as one of the best across the entire United Kingdom; acknowledges that CATCH has been named in the country's top 50 fish and chips shops for 2022-23, as part of the latest Fry Awards; understands that businesses received unannounced inspections to assess the quality of the food on offer, cleanliness, staff knowledge, value for money, ease of ordering and social media presence, with the inclusion of an app where customers can place an order; further understands that takeaway fish and chips shops had to receive a score of 95% and that restaurants had to achieve a mark of 92% in order to be included in the top 50; notes that this is the 11th year of the Fry Awards, and wishes CATCH in Netherlee continued success in the future.
