The Glenturret Lalique One Michelin Star 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates The Glenturret Lalique at The Glenturret Distillery, for retaining its status as a one Michelin star restaurant for 2023, which was announced at the Michelin Guide Ceremony on 27 March 2023; understands that this is the second consecutive year that it has been awarded a one star status; notes the Michelin Guide verdict that, “set within The Glenturret Distillery - Scotland’s oldest working whisky distillery - this intimate restaurant mixes the luxury with the everyday, both in its surroundings (its beamed ceiling is hung with two beautiful Lalique chandeliers), as well as in its dishes, with the likes of tattie scone served alongside Highland Wagyu and caviar", and that "dinner is a multi-course tasting menu of precisely crafted modern dishes with a clean, delicate look and great depth of flavour, and Head Chef Mark Donald perfectly balances local and global influences with contrasting textures"; commends Head Chef, Mark Donald and his team for this latest recognition, and wishes all involved continued success for the future.
