Jim Bertram Charity Cycle

The motion

That the Parliament commends Jim Bertram, from Newmains, on his latest charity cycle across the UK, raising funds in 2023 for his chosen charity, Chris’s House in Wishaw, which is a local mental health charity; understands that, over the past 20 years, Jim has raised over £200,000 for many charities, including Law Hospital Children’s Ward and the Kris Boyd Charity; acknowledges what it sees as the outstanding work and support that Chris’s House provides to those in mental health crisis; thanks Jim for his outstanding fundraising over the years, and wishes him all the best for the future.
