Gordon Rural Action Opens Bikery in Huntly

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Gordon Rural Action on the opening of the Bikery shop and workshop in Huntly; understands that the Bikery will sell new and recycled bikes and parts and will also offer maintenance and repairs through its workshop; further understands that the Bikery, working in partnership with Cycling UK, aims to make the purchasing and maintenance of bikes affordable for everyone; commends the outreach work that the Bikery has already undertaken in running bike maintenance workshops for the local scout group and secondary school pupils in order to encourage more children to take up cycling; believes that the Bikery is an excellent initiative by Gordon Rural Action that will bring significant benefit to the local community, and wishes it every success for the future.
