Congratulates Doune Castle AFC On Winning East Scotland Amateur Cup

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Doune Castle Amateur Football Club (AFC) on winning the Scottish Amateur Football Association (SAFA) Only Sport East of Scotland Amateur Cup on 31 March 2023 at Falkirk Stadium; understands that Doune Castle AFC was in the final against Alva AFC and won on penalties 4-3, after the score was drawn at 0-0 at full time; further understands that this is Doune Castle AFC's third time winning the Only Sport East of Scotland Amateur Cup and that Doune Castle AFC captain, David Innes, received the East of Scotland Cup from Iain Cowden, president of the SAFA, and wishes the club future successes.
