Castleview Primary School Welcomes Orphaned Ukrainian Refugees
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that Castleview Primary School has welcomed orphaned Ukrainian refugees in February 2023; understands that Castleview Primary School children have made a standout effort to help the Ukrainian children as they learn English and integrate into their new life in Edinburgh; further understands that the refugee children have made new friends through their shared love of football and have settled in well to the community, and notes that Castleview Primary School was recognised for its efforts on ITV News and BBC Reporting Scotland.
