Growth in Scottish and UK Space Sector

That the Parliament welcomes the news from the 2022 report, Size and Health of the UK Space Industry, that income in the Scottish space sector grew by almost £40 million in 2021, leading to a boost in employment of 128 new jobs and 39 more space organisations in Scotland; understands that Scotland saw the fourth-largest increase in the number of space organisations after London, the South West and South East of England, and considers that these figures underline the growing significance of Scotland’s important contribution to the UK space industry.
