Mark McKeown Celtic Featherweight Champion Retires

The motion

That the Parliament commends Mark McKeown from Coatbridge on his contributions to Scottish boxing; notes that Mr McKeown is undefeated in over eight boxing bouts and currently holds the Celtic Featherweight Champion title; understands that Mr McKeown has dedicated time, skill and hard work to win this title; further understands that Mr McKeown has recently decided to retire from boxing for medical reasons; recognises that Coatbridge has a proud tradition of excellence in boxing and believes that Mr McKeown certainly continued that; thanks Mr McKeown for representing Coatbridge and the wider Scottish sporting community with grace and dignity, and wishes him well in all his future endeavours.
