Lanarkshire Occupational Therapist Wins Merit Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lanarkshire occupational therapist, Janice McClymont, who was awarded a Merit Award for her outstanding work in occupational therapy services; notes that the Royal College of Occupational Therapists' Fellowship and Merit Awards recognise individuals nominated by their peers for their excellence and their special contribution to the profession; understands that Janice, who is Head of Profession for Occupational Therapy Services with NHS Lanarkshire, and an honorary fellow of the School of Health and Life Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University, was awarded for her considerable innovation, impressive volume of achievements, work on post-Covid 19 and the development of an occupational therapy model, which has a national reach and influence, and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
