Curry's Uddingston Raises Money for Defibrillator

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Curry’s Uddingston on the huge success of its recent fundraising event, which was held to raise money to purchase a defibrillator; notes that the event, which took place over 1-2 April 2023, exceeded its goal of raising £1,200 and raised a massive £3,371.26; further notes that the extra funds raised will go towards teaching children CPR and about automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in local schools and community groups through St Andrew’s First Aid, and commends the entire Curry’s Uddingston team for arranging this successful event in memory of a customer who sadly passed away in the store.
