Fife's New National Treatment Centre Receives Two Grants Totalling Over £700,000 from Health Charity Funding
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates Fife's new National Treatment Centre receiving over £700,000 of health charity funding; understands that the Fife Health Charity has made two separate donations to help bring the state-of-the-art facility at Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital to fruition with its largest-ever grant of £618,000, to integrate audio visual technology within the treatment centre’s surgical theatres; notes that the equipment being used will allow staff at the hospital to visualise surgery and improve training and development opportunities at the multi-million pound facility; further notes that £120,000 was awarded to improve the patient experience through environmental enhancements, such as decorative additions to inpatient rooms and theatres; appreciates the grants, and wishes the new National Treatment Centre all the best for the future.
