Tamsin Morgan Raises Funds for Charity that Supported Her Mother’s Cancer Care
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that Tamsin Morgan, a young schoolgirl from Erskine, has raised hundreds of pounds for the charity, Rays of Hope; understands that Rays of Hope is a cancer support charity, which offered care and support to Tamsin’s mother, Sarah, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021; notes that Sarah Morgan, who is now thankfully in remission, is a full-time fundraiser for Erskine Veterans Charity; celebrates that Tamsin and Sarah will be taking part in a three-mile sponsored walk, called the Wee Wander, at Loch Lomond on 30 April 2023; further celebrates that Tamsin has already surpassed the £500 fundraising target, and that all the money that she raises will go towards helping Rays of Hope to build a £500,000 extension to its site, and commends the mother and daughter for their dedication to raising funds that will help ensure more people can benefit from the vital support that they received and benefited from in the past.
