Aberdeen Airport Charity Fundraising

The motion

That the Parliament commends Aberdeen Airport on raising £8,000 for good causes through the ABZ Propeller Fund; notes that the fund is open to groups, organisations and charities with links to education, sustainability and economic regeneration; recognises that this funding round has supported St Devenick's Playgroup with a Wendy house to enhance outdoor play opportunities, The Seed Box in Ballogie with a polytunnel to help grow vegetables, The Haven in Stonehaven with induction hobs to provide cookery classes for improving skills and reducing food waste, Mastrick Community Centre with a cash register and aprons to benefit its community café, and the Bethany Christian Trust Service with a beehive to help improve the mental health of its clients through beekeeping; welcomes this initiative, and wishes Aberdeen Airport well with future fundraising efforts.
