North Uist Distillery Wins Three Prizes at the London Spirits Competition

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates North Uist Distillery on winning three prizes at the London Spirits Competition in March 2023; understands that the Distillery’s Scottish Dry Gin received a near-perfect score of 98 out of 100, collecting the Spirit of the Year, Gin of the Year and Best in Show by Country Category prizes; further understands that the London Spirits Competition, organised by the Beveridge Trade Network, judges spirits brands from a consumer-oriented perspective; notes with pleasure the burgeoning reputation of the small Hebridean business, founded in 2019, which also won the Scottish Gin Distillery of the Year and Excellence in Branding awards at the Scottish Gin Awards in 2022, and wishes the distillery continued success in the future.
