Resonate Together in Alloa Promoting Mental Health Awareness Week
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that a Clackmannanshire charity has launched two weekly events to promote mental health awareness throughout May 2023; understands that Resonate Together has announced that it will be running a weekly chess social club and open exchange sessions; further understands that the chess club will be open to visitors of all levels every Thursday evening throughout May from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, and will be held at the Carsebridge Cultural Campus in Alloa, while the open exchange sessions aim to provide a safe space for people to come together and share experiences without fear of judgement and are to be held every Sunday in May from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm, also at the Carsebridge Cultural Campus; acknowledges that Resonate Together was established in 2010, with the aim of focusing on forging a strong, diverse and connected community, and commends the charity, which hopes to continue running these events beyond May, for its tireless endeavours for the wellbeing of all communities across Clackmannanshire and farther afield.
