Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels Opens Wee Chatty Café in Clydebank

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the opening of Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels’ Wee Chatty Café in Clydebank; understands that, following the charity’s three-year anniversary of helping the most vulnerable within the community, it has opened a takeaway café in the form of a converted shipping container, which is free of charge and accepts donations in the form of cash, teabags, coffee, cakes, sweets, dog treats, or poo bags; acknowledges that the café has been located in an area that connects the Forth and Clyde Canal walkways in Old Kilpatrick, with the aim of being a friendly place for walkers, cyclists, and those who have come for a walk to clear their heads; recognises the positive impact that this will have on residents and visitors, and looks forward to seeing future projects.
