Lanarkshire Samaritans Marks Its 50th Year
The motion
That the Parliament commends Lanarkshire Samaritans, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary; recognises what it sees as the importance of the Samaritans service and its volunteers, who provide 24/7 lifesaving emotional support to those who are lonely, or find themselves struggling or facing a mental health crisis; acknowledges the Samaritans' outreach efforts and its work around suicide prevention across Scotland, and thanks all those who dedicate their time to this important service.
