Clyde Valley High School Kiltwalk
The motion
That the Parliament commends Clyde Valley High School, in Wishaw, for participating inthe Glasgow Kiltwalk's Mighty Stride on 30 April 2023 to raise funds for StAndrew’s Hospice; understands that staff and pupils began their Kiltwalk fromGlasgow Green, walking 23 miles to Balloch Park and raising funds as they went;further understands that the Kiltwalk is a unique fundraising organisation, whichsupports many charities across Scotland, becoming one of the best-known andmost well-attended events in Scotland; notes that St Andrew's Hospice providesspecialist palliative care to people living with life-limiting illnesses, andthat its mission, which is to provide support not only for patients, but alsofor their loved ones and carers, is central to its ethos, and thanks ClydeValley High School and all those who donated.
