Cairellot's 30th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Cairellot Nursery on its 30th anniversary; understands that over the last three decades, the nursery has been dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for countless children and that it is proud to be considered a vital member of the local community; further understands that the nursery aims to provide a safe, secure, happy and stimulating environment in order to allow each and every child to reach their full potential; notes that the nursery was started by mothers Rosie Elliot and Ann Cairns in April 1993, and that the nursery is now led by Rosie and her son, Martin, as well as Susan, as unfortunately, Ann passed away; recognises that Rosie won Employer of the Year at the Provost Community Awards in 2014; understands that Rosie firmly believes that her staff are her greatest resource and the reason for the nursery’s long-running success; commends the nursery once again on this prestigious achievement, and wishes it the best of luck in the future.
