Home-Start Falkirk and Magic Breakfast Awarded ScottishPower Foundation Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Home-Start Falkirk and Magic Breakfast on being awarded funding from the ScottishPower Foundation; understands that Home-Start Falkirk was awarded funding to help deliver five Family Support Hubs across Falkirk, providing intervention services for vulnerable children and their families; further understands that Magic Breakfast was awarded funding to provide healthy, nutritious breakfasts to around 3,000 children across 30 schools in Scotland, including schools in the Falkirk East constituency; considers that both charities are important in helping to provide children with the best start in life, and to support them throughout their childhood years; notes that the ScottishPower Foundation, established by Scottish Power, aims to make a worthwhile contribution to society and help to enhance Scotland's local communities; congratulates again Home-Start Falkirk and Magic Breakfast on their funding awards from the ScottishPower Foundation, and wishes both charities well with their projects.
