Scottish Cup Final Kick-off Time

The motion

That the Parliament condemns the decision of the Scottish Football Association (SFA) to move the Scottish Cup Final on 3 June 2023 from its traditional 3.00 pm time slot to 5.30 pm; understands that the decision was taken to avoid a clash with the FA Cup Final between Manchester United and Manchester City at Wembley taking place at 3.00 pm the same day; believes that no meaningful consultation has taken place in relation to the change; considers that this will impact on many supporters attending the match, and calls on the SFA to put Scottish football fans first and reverse its decision.
