Congratulating Accessible Tennis CIC on Winning Tennis for All Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Accessible Tennis CIC, based in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, on winning Tennis Scotland’s Tennis For All award; understands that Accessible Tennis CIC aims to provide tennis coaching for underrepresented groups in sports, such as people with disabilities or health conditions, older people and women; further understands that Accessible Tennis CIC aims to improve the health, fitness and wellbeing of the aforementioned, alongside the community as a whole, as well as improving social inclusion; notes that the Tennis Scotland Awards celebrate the formidable achievements and contributions of clubs, programmes, and competitions, as well as the inspirational individuals in tennis, who dedicate their time and energy to the continual development and growth of the sport, and commends Accessible Tennis CIC on this win.
