Dumbarton’s Carousel Nurseries Receives "Very Good" Rating

That the Parliament commends Dumbarton’s Carousel Nurseries on reports that it has achieved four “very good” ratings from inspectors, following a visit by Education Scotland; understands that this was as a result of the quality of care and support provided to children, the quality of staffing, and the quality of management and leadership at the nursery; further understands that inspectors recognised the supportive and caring relations and communications, which provide continuity of care between home and nursery; notes the role that the nursery plays within the local community, as it partakes in regular outings to local bakeries and shops, as well as local parks, and applauds the staff for what it sees as its ability to communicate with parents regarding their child’s learning progression, and to adapt practices and interactions to ensure that the needs of both the children and their families are met.
